About the role
Temporary full-time opportunity to provide advanced clinical leadership, clinical expertise and operational management within surgical, anaesthetic and procedural services, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred medicines management and supporting service innovation and continuous improvement at STARS.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver advanced level clinical pharmacy services (relating to surgical, anaesthetic and procedural services), providing expert clinical knowledge, advice, professional judgement and leadership in critical clinical problem solving.
- Coordinate and manage the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic directions, policies, goals and objectives that support efficient, value-based and patient-focused pharmacy service delivery across STARS surgical, anaesthetic and procedural services including key digital transformation objectives.
- Lead or participate in relevant networks, committees or professional groups at a HHS or state-wide level relevant to surgical, anaesthetic and procedural services and associated delivery of care.
- Utilise an advanced level of clinical pharmacy knowledge so as to facilitate the provision of ongoing education and training requirements of a multidisciplinary workforce at a digital hospital.
