The role: 

Lead systems testing design and improvement methodologies and reviewing technical and business design requirements and solutions. You will manage various types of testing in line with the testing strategy, including the provision of test environment, technical support and documentation reviews.

Liaising with project teams and other business areas, you will use your in-depth knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance on testing processes, strategies and execution and ensure quality testing methods are implemented in alignment with best practice ICT testing frameworks. You will develop project test strategies and test plans within a requirements and risk based testing and assurance framework.

Are you right for this role?

To be successful in this role, you will be experienced in the planning of system and acceptance tests and possess a thorough knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and techniques applicable to a large scale, complex IM/ICT project environment. Your proven experience in the implementation of quality testing methods and frameworks to ensure the integrity of testing is essential. Demonstrated experience in working in clinical and critical application platforms with HL7, SQL and other clinical messaging services. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities are essential to assess and evaluate testing requirements. within a complex Information Management/ Information and Communication Technology environment. A flexible and adaptable approach is required and the ability to manage competing work priorities to meet deliverables without compromising outcomes is required to secure this role.

The successful candidate may be required to work onsite with projects in varying locations across South East Queensland. Travel to Queensland Health sites throughout Queensland may also be required as part of this role.
