Metro South Health is seeking experienced and passionate Clinical Facilitators to join the Nursing and Midwifery Practice Development Unit at Logan Hospital. These permanent part-time Nurse Grade 6 opportunities support the Coronary Care Unit (CCU-5B) and General Medicine Infectious–Endocrine Ward (7A), delivering clinical education, mentorship and professional development to nursing teams within complex acute care environments.

Your new role:

In this role, you will provide advanced clinical facilitation, leadership and education to support safe, high-quality patient care and workforce capability. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering clinical education, bedside teaching and competency support to nursing staff, graduates and students
• Providing expert clinical leadership and guidance within Coronary Care and General Medicine specialty areas

About you:

You are a skilled and motivated nursing professional with a passion for education, clinical leadership and workforce development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Advanced clinical knowledge and experience within acute medical and/or coronary care nursing environments
• Strong teaching, mentoring and communication skills with the ability to support learners at all levels

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
