We welcome you to become a part of the Digital Health Clinical Services team as a Digital Health Trainer. In this role, you will deliver engaging digital health training and provide expert system support, enabling staff to safely and confidently use clinical systems across Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

About us:

Digital Health Clinical Services plays a vital role in supporting the implementation and optimisation of digital technologies and clinical systems. In it, we provide expert advice, workflow analysis, training, and user support to enable fast, secure access to real‑time patient information, promote safe clinical practice, and deliver efficient, integrated healthcare that enhances patient experiences and optimises costs.

About your role:
 
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate digital health training sessions using diverse and flexible training methods in a variety of contexts (i.e. at the elbow, virtual, web-based, group forums)
  • Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resources management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
  • As part of a multidisciplinary team, collaboratively design and develop training materials (eg. curriculum, session plans, participant workbooks, user manuals, quick reference guides, promotional material, on-line platforms and videos) specific to digital health clinical systems to enable flexible delivery methods that are based on clinical workflows, roles and evidence-based
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve work targets with limited supervision.
  • Provide Hotline support and deliver assistance or escalate when appropriate.
