The purpose of this role is to assist in the management, coordination and delivery of Specimen Reception services, ensuring efficient workflows, staff support and compliance with Pathology Queensland standards across the TPCH Laboratory Group.
What you'll do
In this role you will assist in supervising and coordinating Specimen Reception staff, support rostering and workflow management, deliver staff training and competency assessments, contribute to quality improvement and accreditation activities, monitor KPIs and service performance, support inventory and resource management, liaise with patients and clinical stakeholders, and maintain operational capability through hands-on specimen reception duties.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Has experience in pathology specimen reception or laboratory support services
- Has demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Can coordinate workflows and prioritise competing demands
- Has strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Has experience supporting quality and accreditation requirements
- Can work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and sites
