Your new role:

Join the Perioperative Unit at Logan Hospital and play an important role in supporting the delivery of safe, compassionate and high-quality patient care within a busy operating theatre environment by:

• Assisting Registered Nurses with the delivery of direct and indirect patient care
• Supporting the day-to-day functioning of the perioperative unit including restocking, equipment checks and maintaining clinical areas
• Observing and reporting patient care needs and escalating concerns appropriately
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes
• Contributing to a safe, respectful and person-centred environment for patients, families and staff
• Participating in ongoing education, training and quality improvement activities

About you:

You are a compassionate and motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care with:

• A genuine passion for patient-centred care and supporting others
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to follow direction and work effectively under supervision

• A Certificate III relevant to the clinical area and/or current nursing or midwifery studies highly regarded
• Previous perioperative or hospital experience highly regarded
