The Head of Department - Support Services, Engagement and First Nations leads whole school priorities focusing on student wellebeing.
The role includes coaching and developing staff, analysing student data to guide improvement strategies.
The HOD coordinates resources and budgets, supports differentiated and evidence-based teaching approaches, and contributes to whole-school improvement priorities through clear communication and collaborative leadership.
The role requires strong communicvation skills instructional leadership capability, data-informed decision making, and effective staff coaching and organisational skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
