About the role
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver high level clinical Occupational Therapy services for patients within the inpatient service including acute medical, surgical, orthopaedic, stroke and rehabilitation wards at Redcliffe Hospital in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.
- Undertake assessment, treatment and management of patients in a varied and complex caseload using a variety of formal and informal materials, procedures and techniques at a high level seeking appropriate clinical support as required.
- Build effective working partnerships and connections across inpatient service providers within MNHHS.
- Demonstrated highly effective leadership skills to build a positive and productive OT team.
- This role is expected to lead and deliver ongoing education to Occupational Therapy and multi-disciplinary colleagues regarding the role of Occupational Therapy in the inpatient setting.
