About us:

This role will deliver efficient and confidential business and administrative support to the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal delivery of clinical services. This position reports to the IMCYS Administration Team Leader. Hospital In the Home provides direct patient care to inpatients in their home environment. The service provides community-based care for inpatients in their home from Palm Cove to the north, Gordonvale to the south and the back of Lamb's Range to the west.
Work as part of the Integrated Medicine, Child and Youth Services Business Team. The administration officer is required to coordinate the administrative and business support activities of the Hospital in the Home Service whilst providing advice on matters relating to the administration of the service.
About you:
In your new role you will…
- Ensure admission and business procedures and systems are well considered, documented and operate effectively and efficiently.
- Manage and monitor the quality of manual and electronic patient information and financial systems for the team to ensure that data and information is up to date and accurate: thus, facilitating safe practice and appropriate information to clinicians.
- Work autonomously, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers in resolution of conflict, meet deadlines and establishing work priorities.
