Paediatric Advanced Trainee in the role of CHQatHome Fellow

The position of CHQatHome Fellow is an advanced training position in General Paediatrics (non-core). You will support all clinical and non-clinical aspects of the CHQatHome Hospital in the Home (HITH) service at the Queensland Children’s Hospital with the supervision of the Medical Lead CHQatHome. This includes active participation in quality assurance, continuing education, clinical teaching, and research activities for CHQatHome.

About the Team
CHQ at Home provides a range of in the home health care services for children and young people living in the broader Brisbane metropolitan area. It includes Hospital in the Home (HITH), Post Acute Care (PAC), Hospital Avoidance (HA) and Palliative Care Programs.
HITH provides care in the home environment as an alternative to hospital inpatient stay for infants and children whose condition is stable or predictable. Patients can be transferred from an inpatient ward, shortening their length of stay in hospital, or admitted directly to HITH from an outpatient clinic or emergency department, avoiding an inpatient hospital stay altogether.
About the Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
