The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Nurses (Emergency) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Plan, manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level
- Act as a resource for expert clinical care needs
- Manage conflict and incidents appropriately at a professional level
- Provide effective and efficient clinical care and leadership in the Emergency Department
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time and permanent part time (multiple positions, minimum 48hrs p.f.)
- Base salary ranging from $113 979- $122 048 per annum or $57.48 - $61.55 per hour
About Us
The Robina ED provides comprehensive care for approximately 64,000 presentations per annum for both adults and children (approximately 10,000 paediatric presentations each year). The department provides a 24-hour triage service for all levels of presentations and has the ability to provide high-quality trauma care to medium and minor level trauma patients and is capable of stabilising trauma patients until transfer.
