About the role
Provide culturally safe, specialist Men's Business health support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at Woodford Correctional Centre and Caboolture services. Deliver health assessments, primary interventions, education, and advocacy while supporting clinical teams and strengthening culturally appropriate care pathways.
Key accountabilities
- Deliver culturally safe Men's Business health support and advocacy in correctional and community settings
- Provide health assessments, screening, and primary interventions within scope of practice
- Support multidisciplinary teams to improve care coordination and health outcomes for clients
- Contribute to health equity initiatives and culturally safe service delivery across Metro North Health
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to health workers and liaison staff in complex care situations
