About the role
Provide advanced clinical nursing care and leadership within a mental health crisis stabilisation unit, supporting recovery-focused, evidence-based care for consumers in acute mental health presentations.
Key accountabilities
• Deliver advanced mental health nursing assessment, planning, and intervention for consumers in crisis
• Respond to acute changes in patient condition using clinical judgement and escalation pathways
• Provide education and support to consumers and families to promote recovery and independence
• Support team leadership, coordination, and supervision within a multidisciplinary mental health environment
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation, compliance with the Mental Health Act, and quality improvement activities
