As Program Manager (Statewide Road Maintenance), you will lead the delivery of the South East Queensland Responsive Maintenance Contract (RMC) & multiple Road Maintenance Performance Contracts (RMPCs), driving best‑practice maintenance management & continuous improvement across RoadTek.

The Program Manager (Statewide Road Maintenance) leads and supports the delivery of the South East Queensland Responsive Maintenance Contract (RMC) and various Road Maintenance Performance Contracts (RMPCs). The role drives effective maintenance management practices, continuous improvement and performance outcomes across RoadTek to ensure safe, reliable and value‑for‑money road networks.
Key responsibilities:
• Implementing contemporary program management methodologies in the delivery of the RMPCs and RMC.
• Working with the RoadTek Operational Leadership Team (ROLT) to develop and implement the delivery of consistent maintenance management activities across RoadTek operations.
• Building innovation and best practice capability across RoadTek.
• Coordinating and preparing maintenance management information to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Lead, manage, and support the RMC and RMPC program team to ensure program objectives are achieved in accordance with legislative requirements and technical governance frameworks.
• Assist in the development, implementation and administration of the RoadTek Maintenance Management Framework, including associated policies, procedures and practice guides, while acting as RoadTek's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for road maintenance.
• Provide advice and support to senior management, the Program Delivery Board and key stakeholders on all aspects of maintenance management processes impacting RoadTek operations at an organisational, business unit, operational, program and project level.
• Liaise and communicate effectively with departmental officers at all levels, as well as external stakeholders, on matters relating to effective and efficient management of road maintenance.
• Assist with the preparation of maintenance management reports for the RoadTek Leadership Team and the RoadTek Program Delivery Board, including analysis of key program performance metrics.
• Lead the RoadTek Road Maintenance Reference Group to support decision making on state-wide road maintenance matters.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.

• You may be required to travel to other locations within Queensland to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
Desirable qualifications:
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in managing a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team of professional and technical experts in the civil industry, specifically Road Maintenance.
• A Diploma in Project Management and accredited Frontline Management qualification.
• Previous experience in the road construction or maintenance industry.
