About the role
Permanent Part-Time / Full-Time (multiple positions available) opportunity to provide efficient and effective operational support services within the Operating Theatre environment, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative team approach within the perioperative unit.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide operational support in the theatre Procedure Rooms by ensuring the area is clean. This includes cleaning of the Perioperative environment and surrounding areas
- Pre-setting and setting up procedure rooms with appropriate equipment and consumables, including laparoscopic and endoscopy requirements.
- Assisting transfers of patients to and from holding bays, post anaesthetic care unit (PACU) and Intensive Care Units (ICU).
