About the role
Provide culturally safe administrative and data support for Ngarrama Maternity Services, ensuring accurate health information, smooth patient flow, and respectful, family-centred care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and families.
Key accountabilities
- Deliver culturally responsive administrative and customer service support that ensures families feel safe, respected, and supported throughout their care journey.
- Manage patient data and bookings using HBCIS and ieMR, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updates.
- Support patient flow through coordination of appointments, records, and administrative processes across multidisciplinary teams.
- Exercise sound judgement in handling sensitive information, maintaining cultural safety, dignity, and privacy at all times.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritising workload effectively while contributing to continuous service improvement and culturally safe care.
