About the role
Deliver high quality evidence-based allied health services and clinical leadership for consumers with complex eating disorders within a multidisciplinary mental health team.
Key accountabilities
• Deliver evidence-based assessment, treatment and therapeutic interventions for consumers with eating disorders in outpatient and multidisciplinary settings.
• Provide high level clinical advice, consultation and liaison to consumers, carers, clinicians and external stakeholders across services.
• Support service development, quality improvement, education and research activities to enhance eating disorder care delivery.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and education to less experienced allied health staff and students.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused care, service planning and consumer outcomes.
