Your new role:
You will play a vital part in delivering high‑quality emergency medical care within a busy metropolitan Emergency Department, working under the guidance of senior medical staff and contributing to safe, effective patient management.
- Provide frontline assessment, investigation, treatment initiation and discharge planning for patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with Registrars, PHOs, Consultants and the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely communication and coordinated patient care.
- Participate in clinical meetings, education sessions and audits, with access to a dedicated Emergency Medicine teaching program and opportunities for ICU/Anaesthetics exposure.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and uphold organisational, legal and safety requirements in all aspects of patient care.
About you:
You are a compassionate, motivated medical practitioner who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering safe, respectful and patient‑centred care.
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills and sound medical judgement, ideally with interest or experience in Emergency Medicine.
- A collaborative team member who communicates openly, respects colleagues and contributes positively to a multidisciplinary environment.
- Committed to continuous learning, quality improvement and maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and patient communication.
- Displays integrity, professionalism and respect for patients, carers and staff from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
