The Support Officer is responsible for the provision of efficient and confidential administrative and business support services to the Frontline Services Group. The role is responsible for the coordination and management of administrative requests for support and data integrity. The position also provides assistance with a wide range of administrative activities including records management, correspondence, and general support duties.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated understanding, or the ability to rapidly acquire a high level of understanding of the structure, roles, functions, and services in a complex government agency.
- Proven experience in providing administrative support to a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited resources.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate, concise reports, submissions, and correspondence.
- Demonstrated high level attention to detail and organisational skills, including the ability to set and review priorities and manage multiple complex tasks and projects within tight deadlines, with a high level of autonomy.
- The ability to work independently and a demonstrated ability to be proactive in seeking additional responsibilities where appropriate and possible.
- Good relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with influence across a broad range of clients and stakeholders and to contribute positively to the team.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Experience in government, health care or emergency services would be highly regarded.
