Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality clinical services while supporting leadership, education and service improvement initiatives within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. You will:
- Deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention and discharge planning across diverse clinical areas including acute, emergency, ICU, outpatient and community settings.
- Manage a complex caseload with a high level of clinical autonomy while contributing to patient-centred care and optimal service delivery outcomes.
- Provide supervision, mentoring and education to junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.
- Contribute to quality improvement, research initiatives and the ongoing development of clinical practices, procedures and service delivery models.
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Occupational Therapist who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care. You have:
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-level Occupational Therapy services within complex clinical environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage with patients, carers and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload demands, exercise sound clinical judgement and support effective discharge planning.
- A commitment to mentoring and developing less experienced clinicians while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Bayside Health Service – Metro South Health
The Bayside Occupational Therapy Department, based at Redland Hospital employs approximately 21 FTE and delivers services across Redland Hospital, Redlands Satellite Health Centre, Wynnum-Manly Gundu Pa Health Centre, Pandanus Unit, Redland Residential Care and within the community. This position may be required to work throughout Bayside Health Service and the position's primary work location may change based on operational requirements. This position may be required to provide Occupational Therapy services on weekends and public holidays at Redland Hospital on a rotational or roster basis.
