Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity to provide advanced clinical leadership and coordinate access and flow across Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) acute and sub-acute programs. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure young people receive the right care, at the right time, in the most appropriate setting.
- Coordinate intake, triage and admissions across acute and sub-acute CYMHS services
- Provide expert clinical leadership and advice in complex mental health care and risk management
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on access, flow and service outcomes
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support safe, timely and person-centred care
About you:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate mental health nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to improving outcomes for young people and families.
- Registered Nurse with advanced clinical experience in mental health and/or addiction services
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of contemporary mental health models of care, clinical governance and evidence-based practice
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of patient-centred care and service delivery
