Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse to provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing care within a busy 25-bed medical/surgical unit at QEII Jubilee Hospital.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care for patients with complex acute medical and surgical needs.
- Provide clinical leadership, care coordination, and expert decision-making within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Support team operations including shift coordination, mentoring, education, and quality improvement activities.
- Contribute to a positive learning culture through clinical facilitation, staff development, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate nursing professional who demonstrates strong clinical capability and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills within a medical and/or surgical setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to support, mentor, and collaborate effectively with others.
- Passion for continuous improvement, patient-centred care, and maintaining high professional and clinical standards.
