About your role
As a Human Resources Consultant, you will provide professional HR consultancy and advisory services to managers and staff across Addiction and Mental Health Services.
In this role, you will:
- Provide expert HR advice across workforce and employee relations matters
- Support and manage complex HR casework including grievances, discipline, investigations and injury management
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation, awards, policies and employment frameworks
- Liaise with subject matter experts to resolve complex workforce issues
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports, recommendations and correspondence
- Develop and deliver HR training, workshops and presentations
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
About you
You are a motivated and solutions-focused HR professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships in a complex environment.
You will demonstrate:
- Experience in human resources, employee relations, industrial relations and/or injury management
- Knowledge of contemporary HR legislation, frameworks, awards and policies
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage sensitive and complex casework with professionalism and discretion
- Experience preparing reports, correspondence and HR documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
