About the role
Fixed term temporary part-time opportunity to operate as a member of an integrated, multidisciplinary mental health team with a focus on the provision of mental health crisis care and evidence based discipline specific and/or therapeutic interventions within a recovery and trauma informed framework.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver competent level clinical services to consumers with complex mental health and alcohol and other drug treatment needs based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes.
- Provide Occupational Therapy advice and education to the multidisciplinary team, operational supervisors, and key stakeholders regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
- Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities within the Mental Health Service to continually improve consumer care.
