The Manager - Adoption and Capability Uplift, provides strategic support for the MHAOD Digital Transformation Program (DTP). This role focuses on optimising information management, workforce engagement, and competencies within Hospital and Health Services (HHSs). Key responsibilities include guiding digital Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), enhancing informatics across the MHAOD workforce, and ensuring new digital capabilities support service transformation within HHSs and throughout Queensland.
What you'll do
As the Manager, Adoption and Capability Uplift, you will lead evidence‑based change to strengthen digital capability across mental health, alcohol and other drugs services. You will champion the digital transformation vision, working closely with Hospital and Health Services and senior leaders to ensure digital initiatives are embedded into clinical practice and workforce capability. Through strong stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships, you will support effective change adoption, optimise information management and clinical workflows, and ensure digital solutions deliver meaningful outcomes for both the workforce and consumers.
About you
We are searching for someone who can:
- Provide expert advice on information management within large, complex transformation programs, including application of standards, policy and legislative requirements.
- Build and sustain strong strategic relationships across government, health, education and industry partners, while supporting and mentoring geographically dispersed multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead and support digital transformation in a MHAOD context by influencing service models, challenging existing protocols and contributing to program governance and strategic alignment.
- Apply advanced clinical informatics expertise and effective facilitation skills to design and deliver workshops, forums and presentations that improve workforce capability and information management outcomes.
