What your day could look like
As a Senior Clinical Education Support Officer, you'll play a vital role in strengthening occupational therapy capability and shaping the next generation of clinicians across the region. From guiding learners through meaningful clinical experiences to partnering with teams to elevate service quality, your work will directly influence patient outcomes and workforce sustainability.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Designing and coordinating clinical education programs that build confident, capable clinicians
- Partnering with educators, leaders and universities to strengthen learning pathways and professional standards
- Leading initiatives that improve how clinical education is delivered across services
- Mentoring and supporting students and new graduates to grow their skills, confidence and impact

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
- Strong clinical experience with the ability to apply evidence-based practice in complex settings
- Proven ability to guide, mentor and support learners and colleagues
- Skills in collaboration, communication and driving service or education improvements
You'll stand out if you have experience supporting clinical education programs across diverse settings and/or additional training in education, leadership or quality improvement.
Most importantly, you're passionate about developing people, improving care, and making a meaningful difference in a regional community.
