We're excited to offer this opportunity for a Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Acute and Restorative Care (ARC) team within the Speech Pathology - Allied Health Service Delivery Model team.
Speech pathologists deliver clinical services in the diagnostic areas of communication and dysphagia, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health Service.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver independent high level Speech Pathology clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
- Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
Salary rates $64.64 - $69.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (permanent part time position available, 60.8 hrs p.f.).
