Step Into Your Next Chapter:
The Engagement team within Student Support branch delivers a range of policy, programs and statewide initiatives to address student disengagement and support student connection and belonging.
This position, currently available from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, will lead exciting program design and resign work, focused on the next phase of development of selected student engagement initiatives.
The role will play a key leadership function in shaping contemporary, evidence informed approaches that are practical, scalable and sustainable within complex education environments.
The role may also contribute expertise to broader priorities, including:
- Supporting the delivery of program evaluations and continuous improvement activities
- Oversight and contribution to monitoring, data analysis and performance reporting
- Preparing and contributing to high quality cabinet, ministerial and executive materials
- Providing strategic advice and responding flexibly to emerging priorities across education case management and student engagement
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong judgement, the ability to work with autonomy, and a collaborative approach to influencing outcomes.
