An exciting opportunity exists at Bracken Ridge State School as the Head of Special Education Services (HOSES) in a permanent, full-time capacity.
The Head of Special Education Services is a key member of the school's leadership team and plays a crucial role in driving excellence in inclusive education.
You will possess strong knowledge of inclusive education and behavioural engagement support and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working in genuine partnership with families and external agencies.
Your leadership will support and inspire staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning while fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program.
- Lead and manage the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program to provide advice to classroom teachers for students with disability as needed.
- Provide high quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers and other school staff to develop, plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disability.
- Coordinate and provide intensive targeted teaching for students requiring intervention.
