About the Role
The position of Occupational Therapist - Advanced (Hand Therapy) will:
- Provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership and advice in paediatric hand therapy services, including identified patient groups through primary contact models of care.
- Actively contribute to the professional leadership and advanced clinical expertise of Occupational Therapists working within hand therapy services. This includes consultancy across CHQHHS and state-wide services across the continuum of care (acute, sub-acute and ambulatory settings).
- Lead healthcare improvement activities in hand therapy and occupational therapy services, ensuring strategic alignment with the research, education and quality agenda.
- Contribute to the clinical leadership and strategic oversight with the occupational therapy surgical leadership team to coordinate the delivery of clinical services and maintain clinical excellence and high standards of care.
