Your new role:
As an Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient flow and operational efficiency across Logan Hospital. Working within the Corporate Services team, you'll provide high-quality administrative support, manage documentation and communication processes, and contribute to a positive experience for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day admin support, including reception, records management, word processing, and data entry.
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Coordinate meetings, diaries, and correspondence for management and clinical teams.
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges through accurate system updates.
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within administrative processes.
About you:
You're a detail-oriented and adaptable admin professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You bring excellent communication skills, strong organisation, and a passion for providing outstanding service. You can manage competing tasks while maintaining a calm, professional presence and a strong team focus.
Skills & Experience
- Proven administrative or secretariat experience within a large or complex organisation.
- Strong verbal and written communication with a focus on professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident computer skills, including accurate data entry and system management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration (desirable).

The Process
This Talent Pool collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual and temporary opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and should there be an employment opportunity you will be contacted to discuss the opportunity further. Additional selection processes (interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required.

- A pool will generally continue for a 12-month period.
