We're excited to welcome a Principal Project Officer to our Program and Planning team.

The purpose of the Principal Project Officer role is to:
•    Provide high level leadership and management of allocated projects and facilitate the implementation of projects while ensuring they are completed within the Queensland State Government, Department of Health and SCHHS frameworks and policies.
•    Develop, implement, and maintain adequate policy, processes, systems, and internal controls to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

•    Manage the delivery of Capital Assets and Infrastructure projects from inception to finalisation, ensuring that clinical and operational requirements and SCHHS policies for capital works, building maintenance and asset management are fulfilled.
•    Work with strategic partners to assess or develop appropriate service delivery models underpinned by clinical planning knowledge of the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines, Australian Standards, industry benchmarks and other evidence-based design guidelines.
•    Interpret and provide advice on legislation, regulations, policies and guidelines as they relate to building and building engineering infrastructure works and the impacts on clinical or operational functions of the service. 
•    Provide project management and procurement expertise in the delivery of capital projects including the development of contractual documentation for both consultancy and building contracts which align with the Building Policy framework.

Remuneration value up to $171 568 p.a., comprising salary between $140 115 - $150 371 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7).
