Your new role:
Join a supportive and fast-paced hospital food services team where you will play an important role in delivering safe, nutritious and high-quality meals to patients and staff.
- Prepare, cook and present meals in line with standard recipes, dietary requirements and food safety standards.
- Support food production across a variety of service areas, including texture modified and special dietary meals.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness while following safe food handling and allergen management processes.
- Contribute to efficient kitchen operations through teamwork, stock rotation, accurate documentation and meeting meal service deadlines.
About you:
We are looking for a reliable and team-focused cook who is passionate about food quality, safety and delivering excellent service in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and cooking meals in a commercial kitchen or food production environment.
- Sound understanding of food safety principles, safe food handling and dietary compliance requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while managing time and meeting production schedules.
- Flexible, adaptable and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and customer service across all areas of food production.
