About the role
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Orthoptic services across STARS, providing advanced clinical care within a multidisciplinary Ophthalmology team. Apply expert clinical judgement, support service improvement, and contribute to patient-centred care across the continuum.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver advanced Orthoptic clinical services and diagnostic testing with a high level of autonomy and professional judgement
- Provide expert clinical advice and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Demonstrate high-level problem solving, workload management, and clinical decision-making skills in complex environments
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and education to junior staff and students
