About your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse (CN) will be part of a management team for a new initiative to build and sustain a nursing and midwifery rural and remote workforce for Queensland Health. The CN of the Rural and Remote Connect Nursing and Midwifery Staffing Service (RRC-NMSS) will be required to lead and manage the recruitment of nurses and midwives, coordinate movement of nurses and midwives to various locations across the state, coordinate training requirements and provide candidate care.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $57.48 to $61.55 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Highly regarded: The ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.
- Highly regarded: The ability to provide nursing leadership in the clinical and professional setting including the role modelling of effective communication and problem solving.
- Highly regarded: The ability to provide clinical education and support at an advanced level and demonstrate own professional development.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
