Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $67.51 to $78.05 p.h. (L4-L9)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
To provide high quality clinical care to patients of the Intensive Care Unit at Townsville University Hospital. The role would be suitable for any stage of training in Intensive Care Medicine although previous intensive care experience is desirable.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualified as a medical practitioner with qualifications and registration, or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Highly desirable: Knowledge of current medical practices and issues and evidence of an appropriate level of expertise in the skills of the preferred discipline. Highly desirable: Proven ability to review, analyse and evaluate patient care for the identification of appropriate treatment and investigations.
- Highly regarded: Proven ability to practice medicine in a cross-cultural environment.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
