Your opportunity
As the Literacy Coach working in the Year 7 space, you will be responsible for leading the development of staff capability across the school's support and intervention team to strengthen teaching, curriculum, tiered intervention strategies, and case management practices. A key focus of this role will be Year 7 Literacy.
Your role
- Model and support pedagogical improvement, with a focus on literacy and differentiated curriculum delivery
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and Heads of Program to identify and implement high-impact strategies and resources that improve student engagement, wellbeing, and academic achievement
- Support the operationalisation of school and departmental priorities by leading specific initiatives and contributing to whole-school improvement targets
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development to improve curriculum outcomes for all students
