As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of critical business systems used by staff to store, manage, analyse and publish water management information. You will lead a team of technical professionals, manage system operations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in system performance and service delivery.

As a Team Leader, you will:
• Lead a technical team to ensure the effective delivery of system support and maintenance activities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee resource allocation, workload management, and performance monitoring to meet organisational objectives.
• Manage the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of critical business systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Oversee incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis in line with ITIL service management practices.
• Ensure system meet business requirements and comply with relevant legislative and policy frameworks.
• Lead system change management processes, including planning, testing, and implementing system updates and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for system optimisation and efficiency improvements, leveraging data analysis and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
• Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders on system-related matters, including technical issues, data analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct data analysis using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake to support decision-making and improve system performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to provide insights into system usage and performance.
• Ensure adherence to legislative, policy, and security requirements in all aspects of system management and team operations. Other Duties as directed and required.

About you
• Proven leadership skills to deliver team objectives and the organisations vision.
• Demonstrated expertise in Digital Deliveries and technical expertise to lead and drive technical discussions.
• Strong communication skills to build internal and external relationships to deliver projects supported by appropriate consultation and engagement.
• Ability to influence best practice planning standards and display sound governance.
