About the role
Provide specialist psychiatry services and clinical leadership in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support service development, education, and quality improvement across Metro North Mental Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver specialist clinical care and treatment for patients with mental health disorders within Consultation Liaison Psychiatry
- Provide high-level clinical leadership, supervision, and support to multidisciplinary teams and junior staff
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective, timely, and patient-centred service delivery
- Contribute to research, quality improvement, and the development of education and training programs
- Support clinical governance through ethical decision-making, reporting, and compliance with relevant systems and standards
