Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project management professional to lead and coordinate complex portfolio management activities supporting major health infrastructure and service expansion initiatives across Metro South Health. You will:
- Lead the delivery of high-value capital and operational commissioning projects ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Provide expert portfolio management advice and operational support across governance, benefits management, risk management and project planning activities.
- Collaborate with senior executives, capital delivery partners and key stakeholders to influence infrastructure design, project delivery and service readiness outcomes.
- Manage multiple project priorities, budgets, reporting requirements and stakeholder relationships in a complex and fast-paced healthcare environment.
About you:
We are seeking a highly capable and collaborative project leader who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes for the community. You have:
- Demonstrated experience managing complex project portfolios within infrastructure, operational commissioning, clinical redesign or health-related environments.
- Advanced project management capability with proven experience delivering projects within time, budget and quality expectations.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at executive and operational levels.
- Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
