Weipa is a remote coastal town on the western side of Cape York Peninsula, overlooking Albatross Bay, and is the main service hub for Western Cape communities. Surrounded by beaches, rivers and mangroves, it offers an outdoor‑focused lifestyle with exceptional fishing, boating, 4WD touring, wildlife spotting and famous west‑coast sunsets, alongside cultural experiences and guided mine tours. 
 
The Clinical Nurse provides clinical leadership and effective management to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective, person‑centred nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's registered nurse standards. The role involves delivering best‑practice assessment and care to promote and maintain health, function and quality of life, while contributing to care planning, evaluation, education and clinical supervision. The Clinical Nurse is a key team member who demonstrates professional accountability and leadership for their practice across TCHHS facilities.
