Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated advanced level of knowledge, expertise and skills in high throughput molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases in a pathology setting.
- Demonstrated skills in developing and validating assays in molecular diagnostics within a Microbiology laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to provide advice state-wide on a broad range of issues pertaining to service delivery and results issued by the Molecular Diagnostic Unit.
- Demonstrated ability to provide scientific services to ensure the maintenance of regulatory clinical standards and established principles/procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change through quality and service improvement activities and provide supervision of personnel.
