You will contribute to implementing policy, maintaining legislation, shaping local planning schemes and regional plans, and supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure and best practice planning and development across the state and its regions The position is Brisbane-based and flexible by negotiation.

Planning Services is responsible for integrating and balancing interests across multiple government agencies who input to planning. Planning Services is also direct customer-facing with development applicants and local government planning officers and the wider community who engage on development applications and planning schemes.

• Contributes to the strategic objectives and priorities of Planning Group and provides strategic advice and regional intelligence to the division and senior executives of the department.
• Creates a safe workplace environment that supports wellbeing and values diversity and inclusion and enables collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation.
