About us:

Located at Pines Street, Builyan, Boyne Valley Primary Health Care Clinic (BVPHCC) provides a Nurse-led primary health service operating three days per week, with a strong focus on comprehensive primary health assessments for consumers within the community.

The role is centred on conducting holistic primary health assessments to support early identification of health concerns, preventative care, and timely intervention. This includes undertaking structured assessments across multiple domains to inform clinical decision-making, care planning, and referral pathways.

About the role:

  • Demonstrate a high level of clinical decision-making, applying critical thinking skills in both supported and, at times, more isolated practice environments.
  • Be accountable for the provision of safe, evidence-based clinical care and professional advice to consumers in the Boyne Valley and surrounding communities, across clinic and home settings.
  • Contribute to health promotion and disease prevention activities to improve health outcomes for individuals and the community.
  • Establish and maintain strong community connections to support engagement and continuity of care.
  • Provide preventative healthcare, education, and support to consumers and their carers to promote independence and self-management.

About you:

  • A relevant qualification in Registered Nursing or equivalent with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration is mandatory for this position.
  • Other relevant qualifications would be well regarded.
  • Proven ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients, families and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks to achieve work unit outcomes.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $87,948 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
