About the Role
As Head of Department - Teaching and Learning, you will lead the Year 8 cohort and provide line management for the English and Humanities faculties.
- The role focuses on building staff capability, particularly supporting teachers in their early career years, and strengthening consistent, high-quality teaching practice.
- You will oversee case management of students and promote trauma-informed approaches that support engagement, wellbeing and achievement.
- Success in the role will require the ability to work independently, lead your areas with confidence and contribute as an active member of the broader leadership team.
