About the role
Provide senior medical leadership to enhance junior medical officer training, wellbeing, and workforce strategy at RBWH. Drive system improvements in rostering, education, and clinical experience to support workforce sustainability and high-quality patient care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide strategic leadership to improve medical workforce training quality, wellbeing, and organisational performance
- Lead development and implementation of initiatives to enhance rostering, education, and clinical experience for junior medical staff
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address workforce challenges, support training needs, and improve system-wide outcomes
- Provide expert advice and support on medical workforce management, including performance, wellbeing, and fatigue management
- Drive quality improvement, governance, and innovation initiatives to strengthen training programs and clinical culture
