Senior Dietitian – Deliver Evidence-Based Diabetes Care
Join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality Nutrition and Dietetics services in Diabetes and Weight Management. This role offers the opportunity to lead clinical initiatives, mentor junior staff, and contribute to service innovation and research. This role is temporary, part time, 60.8 hours per fortnight up to 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Your new role:
As a Senior Nutrition and Dietetics clinician, you will deliver expert patient-centred care in Diabetes and Weight Management, contribute to service development, and mentor junior staff and students. Working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will have the opportunity to influence practice and drive quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetics services including assessment, intervention, and evaluation
- Provide clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to junior clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical practices, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, carers, and external agencies to ensure optimal care and discharge planning

You are an experienced Nutrition and Dietetics professional with strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for evidence-based patient care. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are committed to service improvement. You Will Demonstrate:

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
