About the role:
As the Social Worker – Advanced (General Medicine), you will provide expert clinical leadership and advanced social work services to patients and families with complex needs across acute, sub-acute and rehabilitation settings. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support high-quality patient care, mentor and develop clinicians, lead service improvement initiatives, and help shape innovative models of care that improve outcomes for Central Queensland communities.
About you:
You are an experienced Social Worker with a recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). You bring advanced clinical expertise, sound professional judgement and a passion for supporting patients and families experiencing complex health and social challenges. With a collaborative approach, you thrive in multidisciplinary environments, contribute to service improvement initiatives and are committed to maintaining high professional standards through ongoing learning and development.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
