About us:
Our Subacute, Ambulatory and Community Services Division (SACS) Business Services Unit delivers essential corporate support to community-based services providing coordinated care across the healthcare continuum. These services focus on alternatives to hospital admission, as well as effective pre- and post-discharge planning to support positive patient outcomes.
The SACS Business Services Unit offers a broad range of operational and administrative support services, including procurement, fleet coordination, customer service, facilities management, and medical records administration, supporting multiple community-based business units.
About the role:
- Actively participate and contribute to support standardisation and best practice of the Medical Records Department and its operations at Rockhampton Community Health to meet patient demand, whilst meeting the organisational objectives.
- Extract, analyse and validate data from the health information systems to ensure data integrity, which includes collating, updating, analysing as well as validating data contained in these systems.
- Gather, analyse, merge, and action Potential Duplicate Reports, Deceased Clients and Electronic Validation Audit reports.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate with stakeholders on administrative business requirements and provide practical solutions on how to effectively integrate administrative business systems and processes across the service, in conjunction with the Manager of Corporate Services.
About you:
- Demonstrate your ability to manage and improve administrative systems and practices and lead service improvement opportunities with demonstrated conceptual, analytical and innovative skills.
- Do you have knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire principles of Lean Methodology? Perfect!
- Bring your high-level ability to work autonomously, independently and use discretion in the absence of decision-makers to establish work priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate at a high level and effective interpersonal skills in communication, consultation and negotiation with a range of senior clinical and non-clinical staff, particularly in respect to sensitive and confidential information.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $3,223 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $47.18 - $51.98 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
