About the role:

  • Lead and manage the multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Unit as a senior clinician, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while ensuring the service meets national standards and professional best practice.
  • Drive quality, safety and risk management across the unit, including incident analysis, clinical governance, audits, complaints investigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide strong clinical and operational leadership to the nursing team, overseeing day-to-day service delivery, resource management, policy development, and evidence-based practice.
  • Foster a culture of learning, research and professional development by mentoring staff, promoting education, and implementing contemporary nursing knowledge and innovative care models.

About you:

  • You are a currently registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a valid annual practising certificate. Post Graduate qualifications in Rehabilitation, Aged Care, leadership and/or management are highly regarded.
  • You bring high-level clinical knowledge and experience in contemporary nursing practice, with a strong track record of delivering safe, quality-focused care and applying risk management and quality improvement frameworks.
  • You are a confident and capable nursing leader with proven ability to manage a multidisciplinary team, effectively handle human, financial and material resources, and successfully lead day-to-day unit operations and budgets in a complex healthcare environment.
  • You possess excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities, lead and motivate a positive, high-performing team culture and develop strong relationships with staff, patients and stakeholders.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $173,368 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $70.58 - $76.63 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
